Hound Charming is first and foremost an animal welfare organisation. We specialise in the Force Free Training of Hounds and their humans. For us, Force Free Training is a way of life.  It means putting the animal's emotional and physical well-being at the centre of what we do. For a full overview of how we coach our clients and aspects to consider before embarking on our Hound Charming path, please read the following:

1. We uphold the highest standards of animal care and welfare. We offer coaching that nurtures and encourages behaviours that are necessary for our dogs’ emotional, mental and physical health to be learned without them experiencing any fear.  We do this without the use of pressure, coercion, restraint, confinement, correction or force. We reserve the right to refuse to continue training with any owner who refuses to abide by these standards.
    

2.  At Hound Charming, we take a holistic approach and do not limit ourselves to training advice only. Where relevant, we will work with other professionals to provide health and nutrition advice to benefit the overall health and well-being of your dog. 
    

3. We will be working with you as part of a team to help you achieve behaviours that you want from your dog and as such. expect you and other members of your household to implement Hound Charming coaching methods in a consistent way. This means to work with your dog daily or as often as recommended, to support these training methods and to get the best possible outcome.  
    

4. The coaching support is exclusively for your dog(s) and is not transferable to other households in the event that you decide to rehome your dog. We may, however, make exceptions for foster dogs who are going to be relocated within the 12 month window. Please let us know at the outset if the dog is under your foster care.  
    

5.  If clients do not follow our advice, it may in some circumstances, not be possible to continue the coaching support. In this event, no refund will be given but a full written explanation of the decision will be provided.
    

6. In the event of serious ill health of the animal or their owner, we will consider pausing the 12 month support for up to 3 months. This decision will be made on a case by case basis, at our discretion. 
    

7. We accept no responsibility for loss of, or injury to, your dog whilst training with us. Owners are responsible for all vet bills, no matter how they are incurred. In the unfortunate event that your dog dies or is euthanized, no refund will be given as standard, however we will consider each case on its merits. All refunds and partial refunds are at our discretion. 
    

8. Hound Charming coaching material, including website material, social media material, videos and documents is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights and legislation. In accessing them, you agree this is solely for your personal, non-commercial use. None of the content may be downloaded, copied, reproduced, transmitted or distributed without the prior written consent of the copyright holder. For downloadable handouts and factsheets, permission is granted for one copy to be printed per owner for personal use. Handouts and factsheets cannot be altered, modified or reworded for further distribution. 
    

9. The 12 months support runs from the date of payment. No refunds will be given in the event that clients do not make adequate use of the services in the time available. 
    

10. By sending payment for coaching support, you are agreeing that you have read and commit to the above terms and conditions.
